Searching Users
You can search for specific users by name, service package, job title, department, and email address.
To Search for Users
- Select the search criteria from the drop-down list.
The criteria available are: Search Users by Name, Search Users by Service Package, Search Users by Job Tile, Search Users by Department, Search Users by Email Address.
- Enter a value in the text field.
You can enter wild card characters such as *, ? in the text field to represent one or more characters when you are searching for users. For example, if you are looking for a user whose name you know starts with “Jay” but you are not too sure of the way the name is spelt, type the following in the text field “Jay*” to locate all names that begin with “jay.”. Use the question mark to substitute for a single character in a name. For example, if you type “ja?s,” all names matching ja and “s” such as jays, jais will be displayed.
- Click Search. The Search Results - Users window displays users matching the search criteria.
The arrow in the header of the column indicates the order in which the names are sorted. The direction of the arrow shows whether it is an ascending (up arrow) or descending (down arrow) sort. Click the arrows in the header to reverse the order of the sorted names.
You can select users from the Search Result table and assign service packages to the selected users, add new users to the organization, delete users, or once again search for users and assign service packages to them.
You can further refine your search to view all users, or users having adminstrator privileges, or click Advanced Filter icon,
to specify the advanced search criteria for a search.
Click the pagination icon,
to toggle between viewing a paginated list of service packages and the entire list of service packages.
From the Search Results -Users window you can also view
- Users for this Organization. Select this option from the Show drop-down list to view Users for the selected organization.
- Service Packages for this Organization. Select this option from the Show drop-down list to view service packages assigned to the organization, their Mail Quota, Allocated, and Used details.
Within the Organization - Service Packages window that appears, you can:
- Properties for this Organization. Select this option from the Show drop-down list to view and edit property details such as the Organization Information, Contact Information, Domain Information, Administrators, and Mail Service details.
Organization Information
The following organization details are displayed. You can edit some of the fields on this page.
Organization Name.The selected organization name is displayed.
Business Category. The business category that the organization belongs to is displayed.
Description. Enter a description for the organization.
Search Keywords. Enter keywords to be used to search the organization.
Preferred Language. Select the preferred language. English is the default language.
The options available are: English, French, Swedish and Japanese.
Domain Status.Select the domain status from the drop-down list. The options available are: Active, Inactive, Deleted, Hold.
User Limit. Specify the maximum number of users that the organization can contain.
Select the top radio button and enter the maximum number of users this organization can contain, or select the “No Limit” radio button if there is no limit to the number of users this organization can contain.
Contact Information
Enter the following contact details.
Postal Address. Enter the postal address details such as Street, City, State, Zip, Postal Code, Post Office Box number.
Telephone. Enter the telephone number.
Fax. Enter the Fax number.
Administrators
From this section you can add organization administrators to the list of administrators or remove administrators from the list.
To Add Organization Administrators
- Click Add Organization Admin.
The Add Organization Administrator pop-up window appears.
In this window you can search for specific users matching all of the following or any of the criteria specified in the next five rows:
- From the left drop-down list select the criteria. The options available are: Organization Name, First Name, Last Name, Mail Domain, Department, Role, Job Title, Email Address, Service Package Assigned, Mail Service Status, City, State.
- From the middle drop-down list, select whether you want to search for something that is a part of the criteria you just selected or search for something that is not part of the criteria. The options available are: Begins with, Ends with, Contains, Does Not Contain.
- In the right text box, enter the text to be searched.
Account Status. Select the account status. The options available are:
Active or Inactive
Mail Delivery. Select the mail delivery folder. The options available are: Local Inbox and Forward.
- Click Search. A list of users satisfying the search criteria, including their User Name, Email Address , Mailbox Status, Service Packages Assigned,are displayed in the Add Organization Administrator window.
The Search Result table can be customized to display a specific number of users on a page.

Use the options available in the Filter drop-down list to further refine your search and to view all users having adminstrator privileges.
- Click Reset to redefine another set of search criteria.
- Select the users you wish to grant admin rights and then click Add Organization Admin to add them to the Administrators list.
To Revoke Administrator Privileges
Domain Information
The default mail domain name is displayed.
You can enter multiple mail domain names separated by commas in the text field.
Mail Service
Enter the mail service details for the organization.
Attachment Quota. Specify the maximum attachment size per message. The options available are:
Mail Store Quota. Select the first radio button and enter the maximum mail store quota or select the “No Limit” radio button, if there is no limit to the mail store quota.
Domain Welcome Message. Enter the welcome message.
Mail Service Status. Select the mail service status from the drop-down list. The options available are: Active, Inactive, Deleted, Hold.
Mail Host. Enter the mail host name. For example, budgie.siroe.com.
Allocate Service Packages
Remove Service Packages
To remove service packages allocated to organizations, select service packages from the list and click Remove.
