Searching Organizations
You can search for specific organizations by name, business category, primary mail host, service package, attachment quota, search key words, city, or state.
To search for an organization
- In the Organizations page, select the search criteria from the drop-down list and then enter the search value in the text field.
The options available in the drop-down list are:
Search Organizations by Name, Search Organizations by Business Category, Search Organizations by Primary Mail Host, Search Organizations by Service Package, Search Organizations by Attachment Quota, Search Organizations by Search KeyWords, Search Organizations by City, Search Organizations by State.
You can enter wild card characters, such as *, ? in the text field to represent one or more characters, when you are searching for organizations. For example, if you are looking for an organization that you know starts with “bec” but you cannot remember the rest of the organization name, type “bec*” in the text field to locate all organizations that begin with “bec.” Use the question mark to substitute for a single character in a name. For example, if you type br?ke, all organizations matching br and ke such as brake will be displayed.
- Click Search.
- The Search Results - Organization window displays organizations matching the search criteria.
The arrow in the header of the column indicates the order in which the organizations are sorted. The direction of the arrow shows whether it is an ascending (up arrow) or descending (down arrow) sort. Click the arrows in the header to reverse the order of the sorted names.
From the Search Result Organizations table you can:
- Allocate service packages. For more information, see Allocating Service Packages.
- Create new organizations. For more information, see Creating Organizations.
- Delete organizations. For more information, see Deleting Organizations.
